Blue is the Common pet hatched from the blue, red-eyed egg at the initial blue EXE plate in the short tutorial. The complete take → return → place → hatch sequence is at 0:25–0:45.

Where to find Blue: egg location and first run

1. Follow the initial tutorial path to the blue guardian’s egg plate, before the green Abandoned Forest waterfall corridor.
2. Take the blue, red-eyed square egg using the Steal prompt; the PC footage uses E interaction.
3. Carry it back along the large white arrows to your own plot. Keep it rather than pressing Drop.
4. Select the egg and place it on the plot. At 0:40, it shows an Egg countdown with one second remaining.
5. Wait until ready, use Hatch, then place the resulting Blue pet to earn cash.

The short player’s Speed HUD is 0 during that tutorial. This is a run context, not a hard requirement. Blue is the actual pet/Index name; the blue Sonic-like appearance and narrator’s “Sonic EXE” wording do not formally name the item Sonic EXE Egg. The Sonic artwork page keeps that visual association qualified.

Is Blue worth keeping? Income and starter tier list

The long 6:50 active-pet panel lists Blue $1/s, Falsity $2/s and Yellow $8/s. At that fixed Blue rate, 60 seconds yields $60; Falsity pays twice and Yellow eight times that displayed rate. This is a starter cash comparison, not a complete Blue variant ranking. The Japanese Index shows Blue $1/s while that creator’s later plot shows $4/s, illustrating different growth/session displays rather than a known mutation formula. Index reward and keeping Blue

Open Index on the left, select the revealed Blue entry and use its Claim button. The short recording’s first claim advertises $100 and +210 Speed and the HUD changes from 4 to 214. That recorded discovery reward is useful for early training; it is not a repeatable per-hatch claim.

Keeping a placed pet contributes its current display rate while you train. Input that rate once in the calculator; do not double a final boosted display a second time. The $1/s gameplay display is not a supplied Reddit trade price for Blue. No actual Blue trading price, legitimate Blue key, full variant odds or rarest form is supplied. A first blue-egg hatch is one result, not a universal loot table; those missing comparisons cannot be replaced by Common or the $1/s label.
